How ForgeLine Systems handles the information you send us when you request a quotation, apply for a role, or contact us about supply.
This policy applies to ForgeLine Systems, Inc. and its manufacturing subsidiaries in the United States, Mexico, and Germany. It covers information collected through this website and through direct correspondence with our commercial, engineering, and supplier quality teams.
It does not cover the websites of our customers or suppliers, including any site you reach by following a link from a document we have sent you.
We collect only what is necessary to respond to an inquiry and, where a program proceeds, to perform the contract. In practice this means:
Drawings, models, and specifications you send remain your property. We treat them as confidential, disclose them only to the ForgeLine personnel and qualified suppliers who need them to quote or produce the work, and do not use them to develop competing designs.
Where a program does not proceed, technical information is retained for twenty-four months in case the inquiry is revived, and is then deleted unless a separate agreement requires otherwise.
Quality and traceability records for manufactured parts are retained for fifteen years, which is the retention period we commit to across every program. Commercial correspondence is retained for seven years. Recruitment information for unsuccessful applications is retained for twelve months.
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it for quality, contractual, or legal reasons. Write to hello@forgeline.example and we will respond within thirty days.
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes are summarized in the first paragraph of the revised version.
