From single prototype parts through 40,000 pieces per year. Below roughly 25 pieces per year we are usually the wrong supplier on cost, and we will say so rather than quote it. The best fit is a repeating program of 200 to 20,000 pieces annually where process control genuinely pays for itself.

Will you quote against a competitor's drawing package?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Transferred programs come with existing tooling, existing gauges, and existing history — we ask for the nonconformance record as well as the drawing, because that is where the real requirement usually is.

How long does a quotation take?

We acknowledge every inquiry within one business day and return a costed quotation in three to five. Programs requiring a full DFM review, new tooling, or multi-plant routing take longer, and we will tell you the date at acknowledgment rather than at the end.

Do you require design changes before you will quote?

No. We quote the design you send. If we see features that will drive cost or risk, we quote as-drawn and attach the alternatives with the saving each one produces. What changes is your decision.

Which plant will make my parts?

The quotation names the plant and the routing. Precision machining runs at Brightwater, heavy fabrication at Calder Ridge, assembly and test at Vela Norte, tooling and metrology at Ostmark. Some programs deliberately route across two or three.

What documentation ships with an order?

As a minimum: dimensional inspection records, material certificates to EN 10204 3.1, and a certificate of conformity. First article inspection reports, weld and NDT records, coating data, and pressure or leak test records are included where the program requires them, in AS9102 format on request.

Can we audit your facilities?

Yes. Customer audits are welcome at any of the four plants, and we schedule them within three weeks of request. Supplier quality will send the current certification scope and the previous audit's corrective action status ahead of the visit.

Do you hold inventory or run consignment stock?

For established programs, yes. Buffer strategy is agreed at launch rather than negotiated during a shortage, and options include finished goods buffer, work-in-process buffer at a defined operation, or raw material held against a rolling forecast.
