Quote what we can actually run
Every quotation is checked against real capacity in a named plant on a named routing. We would rather lose a program at quotation than lose a customer at delivery.
ORGCompany
ForgeLine Systems manufactures the components other manufacturers cannot afford to get wrong.
Who we are
We are a contract manufacturer for equipment builders — precision machining, heavy fabrication, tooling, and integrated assembly across four plants in three countries. Customers come to us with a component that is failing on cost, on schedule, or in the field, and leave with a documented process that holds.
We do not sell a catalogue. Every part we make belongs to a customer’s design, which means our value is entirely in how well we plan, control, and document the process that produces it. That is why the company is organized around routings and control plans rather than around machines.
The four plants are deliberately different from one another. Machining, heavy fabrication, assembly, and tooling each have their own building, their own equipment, and their own engineers — and one shared standard for how a program is controlled once it is running.

P-01 / 04How we work
These are not values on a wall. Each one has a consequence attached, and the consequence is what makes it real.
Every quotation is checked against real capacity in a named plant on a named routing. We would rather lose a program at quotation than lose a customer at delivery.
If a design will be expensive to make, we bring it up during quotation with the specific feature and the specific cost. Silence during quotation is how programs fail in month seven.
Distortion, drift, and scrap are process problems. We fix them in sequencing, fixturing, and control rather than in straightening, sorting, and inspection.
Certification, traceability, and inspection data arrive with the shipment. A part without its documentation is not finished work.
1994 – 2026History
Nine toolmakers and four machines in a leased bay in Brightwater, Indiana, building fixtures and dies for regional equipment manufacturers.
A pump manufacturer asked whether the tool room could also make the parts. The first production cell was commissioned that year and has never been idle since.
The name changed to reflect what the business had become: a manufacturer of production programs rather than a supplier of individual tools.
A purpose-built heavy plant in Ohio brought plate processing, welding, stress relief, and large-envelope machining under one roof and one crane rail.
The group's first climate-controlled measuring room was commissioned after a dispute that took eleven weeks to settle. Nothing has taken eleven weeks since.
Assembly and functional test moved into a dedicated plant in Nuevo León, so customers could buy a tested module instead of a set of components.
A German tool room with a metrology hall joined the group, bringing tooling construction and measurement authority inside the business.
All four plants moved onto one control plan and capability standard, so a program can be routed across plants without changing how it is controlled.
67,500 m² of manufacturing floor supporting 63 program launches in the last year, with the original Brightwater tool room still running.
EXECLeadership
Six executives, all of whom came from manufacturing rather than into it.
Joined ForgeLine as VP of Operations in 2011 after fourteen years in heavy equipment manufacturing. Metallurgist by training; still reads the capability studies.
In role since 2016
Runs the four plants and the group schedule. Built the levelled release system that took group on-time delivery from 91% to 98.6%.
In role since 2018
Leads the 41 manufacturing engineers and the DFM practice. Previously spent a decade in process development for fluid power components.
In role since 2020
Owns the group quality system and the certification scope. Responsible welding coordinator for the rail programs at Calder Ridge.
In role since 2017
Responsible for machine tool strategy, automation, and the pallet-pool programs. Joined from a machine tool builder's applications group.
In role since 2021
Manages material, the qualified supplier panel, and the annual audit program. Introduced the buffer strategy agreed at every program launch.
In role since 2019
