CAP-02Capability
Structural weldments to 40 tonnes, with coded welding procedures, stress relief, and large-envelope machining under one roof.
Overview
Calder Ridge Fabrication handles the parts that are too large to move twice. Plate processing, forming, welding, stress relief, and finish machining all sit on the same 24,300 m² floor, served by 40-tonne crane coverage from receiving to shipping.
Welding is performed to qualified procedures under ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1, by welders whose continuity records are tracked in the same system that releases the work order. An out-of-date qualification stops the job.
Distortion is engineered out rather than straightened out. Weld sequencing, fixturing, and pre-machining stock allowances are modeled before the first tack.
